In this episode, we share an opinion piece written by Tom Shakely of Americans United For Life. The piece was published in Newsweek on July, 7 2020. Mr. Shakely reports on the recent decision of Planned Parenthood of Greater New York to erase the name of its founder, Margaret Sanger, from their building. He informs us that Ms. Sanger's associate, Alan Guttmacher, pushed for abortion as the most efficient means of eliminating minorities. While Planned Parenthood cancels Margaret Sanger, it continues to profit by violating the basic human right to life. We share Rabbi Shlomo Nachman's essay on The Month fo Elul as a way to reach out to any listeners who may feel troubled by their support for the racist and eugenics history of the abortion provider, and offer Teshuvah as a way to escape the death culture mentality.
We study Power Point slide #25 What Does Rabbi Bleich Say?, #56 Rav Shach Says ‘Life Is Paramount’, slide #79 Margaret Sanger: Eugenicist & Anti-Semite, and slide #106 Take Action To Save Jewish Lives. Recorded 9/1/20.
